What happens after you have accepted a place at Kemsley?
Parents/carers of children who are offered a place to join Kemsley in September 2027 will be invited to a parent information meeting in June 2027, and the children will be invited to transition events which familiarises families and children with the school setting so that they feel ready to start in September.

Around June / July, 2027 we will book home visits with families as well as Nursery visits. This is an opportunity for families to meet the reception staffing team and ask any questions that they may have.

Our Reception cohorts start full-time education almost immediately. On the first day of the Autumn term, parents and pupils will meet individually with the Reception class team, if home visits have not been possible in the previous summer term. Reception class then begin their very first day on the second day of the school term.
